The increase in oil prices upon settlement at the end of trading on Monday
Oil prices were closed at a rise when settlement at the end of transactions on Monday.
Brent crude futures rose 48 cents to $ 75.22 a barrel upon settlement.
The US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 65 cents to $ 71.39 a barrel.
