"Talis"It intends to launch a strategic project to create a radar factory in the Emirates

Abu Dhabi, February 19 / WAM / Pascal Soris, CEO of Tallis International, said that the group specialized in the fields of defense, space, cyber security and digital technologies in the process of launching a strategic project to establish a radar factory in the Emirates, which will be a platform to meet the needs of the state and export to global markets .

Source added in statements to the Emirates News Agency, “WAM” that “Talis” continues to discuss new projects with the relevant authorities in the Emirates, including developing advanced solutions in the field of aircraft, communications systems and radars, in order to support the strategic plans of the state in enhancing its defense readiness and relying on advanced technology .

She pointed out that the UAE is a strategic center for the company’s operations in the region, where “Talis” works to benefit from the country’s location and advanced capabilities to support export projects to global markets, which contributes to enhancing the UAE’s position as a regional axis for advanced defense and technological industries.

She emphasized that the cooperation between “Talis” and the UAE reflects the company’s commitment to supporting technological development in the region, noting that investing in artificial intelligence and digital technologies contributes to enhancing defense capabilities and developing innovative solutions that support various sectors, which makes the UAE a major center for advanced technology in the region and the world.

She added that “Talis” is working closely with various entities in the Emirates to support artificial intelligence projects, as it merged this technology into more than 100 products within its defense and security solutions, stressing the importance of collecting local data and analyzing it in cooperation with Emirati engineers to develop advanced systems that are in line with the needs of the forces Armed and various institutions.

On the other hand, Soris said that the company is investing about 4 billion euros in developing digital technology, equivalent to 20% of its annual revenue. She added that “Talis” has a wide presence in the Middle East, where more than 1,700 employees work, including 550 in the UAE, stressing that the company has a long -term partnership with the UAE that extends for more than 50 years, and includes various defense and civil sectors.

She explained that “Talis” obtained a license six years ago to establish the company “Thales Echnology”, which currently operates in the defense sector and currently includes 170 employees, with plans to double this number in the near future, noting that the company focuses on attracting Emirati competencies, and works in cooperation With local universities to qualify and train young talents, which enhances their role in supporting national capabilities in the technology sector Defense. She added that “Thales Emrat Technologies” established three specialized centers, including radar, digital communications, and defense services.
