A special guide to celebrate “Emirati Day for Education”

The Ministry of Education issued the guideline of the activities and festive activities that will be organized in all schools in the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the “Emirati Day for Education” that will be celebrated on February 28, and the day that was allocated under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan The head of the state, “may God protect him”; Emphasizing the importance of education and its pivotal role in building a conscious generation, and the effective contribution to the path of sustainable development of the state.

The evidence issued by the Ministry includes a definition of “Emirati Day for Education”, and the reasons for its allocation as a national occasion aimed at consolidating awareness of the role of education, as well as highlighting the national efforts made to advance the educational system according to the finest international standards.

The guide also shows the goals of celebrating this day, which includes emphasizing the importance of education in the development vision of the state, highlighting its pioneering achievements in this sector, and celebrating the gains achieved in the field of education, in addition to allocating part of the events to honor the distinguished educational and administrative cadres, and motivate students to continue excellence And promoting community partnership by involving society in supporting education.

The guide also determined the schedule for the celebration, as the activities are held from 24 to 28 February 2025, with the participation of students and parents, while ensuring the continuation of the educational process during this period.

Various activities

The Ministry presented proposals for various activities that can be implemented at the level of schools and classes, focusing on the history of education in the Emirates, its most prominent stations, its role in building the individual and society, in addition to consolidating the national identity of students, and reviewing the most important achievements achieved by the education sector.

The guide also includes the controls and instructions for organizing events, and the mechanisms for their implementation in a way that takes into account the educational aspects, and the age groups of students, with the need for teachers to supervise the implementation of activities, as well as adhere to the previous evidence in place regarding the celebrations that are organized in schools, in addition to ensuring the application of safety procedures Inside the school during the implementation of the events.
