“It will be signed soon” .. a new development on the Ukrainian mineral agreement

On Friday, the White House stressed that Ukraine will sign “very soon” an agreement with Washington on its rare minerals, although President Voludimir Zellinski announced his rejection of a first draft because it does not include security guarantees Kiev.
In a speech during the “Conservative Political Labor Conference” (CPAC) on the outskirts of Washington, US National Security Adviser, Michael Waltz, said in a speech during the “Conservative Political Labor Conference” (SIPAC) on the outskirts of Washington.

Ukrainian mineral agreement

Kyiv said that the agreement was still on the table despite the dispute between Zelinski and US President Donald Trump.
Trump’s senior advisers have strengthened their attacks on Ukrainian President in recent days, after Trump described him as a “dictator” and held Ukraine responsible for “starting” the war with Russia.
The United States has been the largest financial, military and political supporter of Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022, which was condemned by the Great Western powers as unjustified and contrary to the laws.
But the White House, led by Trump, is seeking to change the conditions of American aid, and insists on the need of American taxpayers to a compensation for their money on Ukraine.

Ukraine and America

Waltz criticized the opposition of this proposal, saying during the annual American Conservative Rally: “What does Ukraine have better than the economic partnership with the United States?”
Kiev and Europe also condemned their marginalization after Trump opened talks with Moscow on ending the war.
Waltz said in this regard that Washington “is speaking to the Russians, to understand what they will need, then you will understand what the Ukrainians will need, and speak to all Europeans.”
“You cannot end the war if you do not speak to both sides.”
