The “Abu Dhabi Media Network” is presented to the audience of its channels and platforms, during the holy month of Ramadan, a group of interesting dramas, including the Syrian social drama series “Underground: a hot season”, which will be shown on the Abu Dhabi channel, and the application “ADTV”, directed by Mudar Ibrahim, and the artists: Maxim Khalil, Samer Al -Masry, Fayez Qazaq, Carmen Labs, Lamin Ismail, Rosina Ladhani, and Lin Ghor, Dalida Khalil, and Iuis Makhlalati.

The work tells a story full of suspense, which takes place in the Syrian capital, Damascus, at the beginning of the last century, specifically in 1900, in a social dramatic framework that deals with the conflict between merchants in that period.

The “Zahrat Al -Khaleej” artist Samer Al -Masry, who expressed his happiness with his participation in the series “Underground: Hot Season”, and revealed that he plays the role of “Ahmed”, the son The largest of the sheikh of the “Khan Tanit” merchants in Damascus, indicating that the events of the series take place in a beautiful historical era, and are interspersed with interesting social competitions and events. Also, the “Zahrat Al -Khaleej” artist Fayez Qazaq, who indicated that he plays the role of a merchant working in the smoke industry as a mediator between tobacco and smoke dealers in “Khan Al -Tatin” in Syria, and the merchants in Britain. “Zahra Al Khaleej” also had a meeting with the artist Lujain Ismail, who revealed that he was playing a young man who was living in Beirut, and forced to return to the Levant to resolve a major issue, promising the audience with enjoyable events.

The series consists of 30 episodes, which is written by Shadi Duwair and Sultan Al -Awda, and the main events revolve around a family that has influences in the city, until a strange merchant appears that change the course of events within the “Khan”, the main place where most of the scenes of the series revolve.

The artist Maxim Khalil embodies the character “Jawdat”, the tobacco merchant who finds himself amid a conflict between capital and power, as his interests are intertwined with many personalities, including “Azzam” who plays his role weighing the master, and he is a honest and loyal person for the family with which he works. While Lynn Ghori plays the role of “Hind”, the educated girl who works translated between the Ottomans and the Arabs, a role that is considered bold for women during that period.

And co -starring in the series, the singer Farah Youssef, in her first dramatic experiences, as the director Mudar Ibrahim was chosen on her; To present the personality of a Roma girl who loves singing, with which some threads and events of the series are linked, which is what the “Gulf Zahra” has already referred to in a single material, which she previously published.

The filming of the series was launched in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, before moving to the Syrian capital, Damascus, in the middle of last December, where these days are being filmed by the last scenes of it, in conjunction with the montage operations for the first episodes, which will start showing early next March.

The teaser promo of the series sparked the enthusiasm of the audience, as the stars of the work appeared, led by the artist Maxim Khalil, Fayez Qazaq, and Samer Al -Masry, in an atmosphere of excitement, mixed with phrases of threat and revenge, and a struggle for strength and influence between a group of merchants in the city of Damascus, during the past century. The work focuses on personalities with great influence and wide power, which leads to violent confrontations and unexpected dramatic transformations.
