Most of the Kingdom’s regions and governorates witness the effect of a cold air mass coming from the north, and its influence will continue in the coming days with a noticeable decrease in temperatures and wind activity in several regions.

A sharp decrease in temperature

The weather analyst at the National Meteorology Center Aqeel Al -Aqil told Al -Youm: “The northern regions are witnessing the peak of the influence of this mass today and tomorrow, Wednesday, where the minimum temperatures recorded at dawn today, a sharp decrease in Tuesday, as it reached a tin of 5 degrees Celsius and in Qurayyat -4 Celsius, in Rafha and Juni -2 two degrees Celsius, and in Sakaka -1 degrees Celsius, while Hail recorded 0 degrees Celsius And Tabuk 1 ° C and in Al -Qassim 4 degrees Celsius. “

“Al -Aqil” added: “The effects of this cold bloc are expected to extend tomorrow, Wednesday, to include the Riyadh region and the eastern regions of the Kingdom with a remarkable activity of winds, especially in the eastern sector and the east of the Riyadh region, in addition to activity in the waters of the Arabian Gulf.”
He continued: “As for the Red Sea, it is expected that the wave will rise to about 2.5 meters, and the air mass begins gradually from the northern regions starting on Thursday, but the atmosphere will remain cold in general on most of the northern, eastern and central regions.”
