“I heard that he was coming on Friday, certainly I have no objection if he wanted it,” Trump added, during an interview with reporters at the White House.

One of the main topics of discussion is expected to be the agreement to grant the United States the right to access to mineral resources in Ukraine, including rare minerals.
Trump indicated that the agreement was negotiated for weeks, and that Zelinski wanted to sign the document with him personally, but he did not reveal the details of the potential agreement.
Previous media reports indicated that Kiev and Washington have already reached a framework agreement on this issue.
Ukraine agrees to the mineral agreement
A senior Ukrainian official told France Presse that Ukraine had approved the terms of the mineral agreement with the United States, and could be signed on Friday.
“Government officials are now working on the details,” said the official, who asked not to be identified.
He added: “Currently, we are looking at a visit to Washington on Friday to sign the agreement.”
He referred to Washington, “All the items that did not suit us, especially those related to 500 billion dollars,” referred to an American demand that Kiev Maaden provided this value.
