To sign the metal agreement .. Zellinski visits the White House on Friday

US President Donald Trump announced that Ukrainian President Voludimir Zellinski will visit the White House on Friday to sign an important agreement on minerals.

This came on Wednesday at the beginning of the first cabinet meeting.

Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski said on Wednesday that the framework of the economic agreement with the United States is ready, but it is not yet provided security guarantees that Kiev is necessary in her war against the Russian invasion.
Zelinski added at a press conference that the full agreement may depend on the talks that are scheduled to be held in Washington on Friday.
He added that the agreed framework is a preliminary step towards a comprehensive package that will be subject to the approval of the Ukrainian parliament.

Military support for Ukraine

Zelinski said that Ukraine first needs to know the United States’ position on continuous military support, noting that he expects wide talks with President Donald Trump during his visit to Washington.

He added: The economic agreement may be part of future security guarantees, but I want to understand the broader vision, what is waiting for Ukraine?

American pressure

Since his return to office last month, Trump told Ukraine that he wanted something in exchange for US billionaire aid to help Ukraine to confront Russian forces that launched a large -scale invasion on February 24, 2022.
The White House exerted great pressure on Kiev to allow America to reach its large mineral reserves used in the space, defense and nuclear energy industries.
