For the first time in 10 years, a measles death was recorded in the United States
The health authorities in the US state of Texas announced the death of a non -restaurant child, as a result of the outbreak of measles in West Texas, to be the first death due to this highly infected respiratory disease, but it is possible in the United States since 2015.
The child, at the age of study, was transferred to the hospital and died on Tuesday evening amid widespread outbreaks, is the largest in Texas for nearly 30 years.
Since the infection began last month, 124 injuries were recorded in 9 provinces.

Serious consequences
The Ministry of Health in Texas and Lubuk’s health officials confirmed the death, without revealing the identity of the child.
The Kovinant Children’s Hospital in Lebuk Province, where the child received treatment, explained that the child was not a resident of the province.
“This is a dangerous issue, we were aware of the presence of measles in our society, and now we see its dangerous consequences,” Amy Tomson, the chief executive pediatrician of the Covenant Health Group, told a press conference on Wednesday.
