45 government agencies in the 3rd edition of the Abu Dhabi Governmental Games Championship
Abu Dhabi, March 4/ WAM/ The third edition of the Abu Dhabi Governmental Games Championship, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, started with the participation of more than 2000 employees and employees from more than 45 government agencies from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its activities will continue until 19 of the same month.
The competitions include 11 diverse sport: football, shooting, Badel, fitness, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, chess, flying feather, all of which are held in Abu Dhabi Karakit Sports Hep, and the international Al -Fursan Sports Resort, while running races are held at the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba, and bicycle races on the junction path for bicycles.
The tournament is held to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, and within the program of interaction and career well -being that aims to enhance the positive of employees, and improve their performance and professional relationships, in addition to developing them at the personal and professional levels within the work environment, and the initiative also contributes to the positive impact on physical health and mental and psychological serenity, in a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of challenge and teamwork.
The teams and individuals who represent government agencies are competing for a total prizes that exceed one million and 300 thousand dirhams, as part of the evening activities that start from nine in the evening.
His Excellency Aref Hamad Al -Awani, Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, stressed that after the success of the past two versions, the third edition of the tournament will play a major role in motivating government employees to adopt an integrated healthy lifestyle that includes the physical, mental and social aspects, and enhancing acquaintance between employees in a positive sports environment and motivating them to adopt exercise as a daily way of life that contributes to raising the quality of their lives, which establishes Recalling more powerful, healthy and sustainable.
