The Egyptian president calls for the adoption of a comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi called for the adoption of a comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which included the survival of the Palestinians on their land, and includes urgent relief and early recovery up to rebuilding, without prejudice to the rights of the Palestinian people.

In his speech, the Egyptian President stressed the opening of the unusual Arab summit in the new administrative capital, which is devoted to discussing the developments of the Palestinian issue and ways to support the Palestinian people, the need to mobilize regional and international support for this plan, stressing the importance of its coincidence with a clear political path that leads to a fair and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue.

He said that Egypt worked, in cooperation with the brothers in Palestine, to form an administrative committee of professional Palestinians and independent technocrats, entrusted with the Gaza Strip administration, based on the experiences of its members, so that this committee is responsible for supervising the relief process and the Gaza Strip administration for a temporary period, in preparation for the return of the Palestinian Authority to the Strip.

He added that Egypt is also working on training the Palestinian security cadres, which must be undertaken by the tasks of maintaining security during the next stage, noting that Egypt has worked in cooperation with the State of Palestine and international institutions to develop an integrated comprehensive plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip without the displacement of the Palestinians, starting with the process of urgent relief and early recovery, leading to the rebuilding of the sector.

The Egyptian President called on free countries to contribute to this path and participate in the reconstruction conference, which will be hosted by Egypt next month; He said: Let us all make support to the fund created for this purpose, a high goal, a human duty, and a right for every Palestinian child and for every family to live in a safe and civilizational environment like the rest of the people of the world.

He explained that the aggression on Gaza left a stigma on the forehead of humanity, as the war targeted the destruction of the Strip and the displacement of its inhabitants, which is completely rejected by Egypt and addresses it from its steadfast position in supporting the rights of the Palestinians.

Al -Sisi warned of the continuation of the attacks and violations in the West Bank and Al -Aqsa Mosque, stressing that Jerusalem is not just a city, but rather the essence of the Palestinian issue, and it is not possible to achieve real peace without establishing an independent Palestinian state on the borders of 1967 and its capital is East Jerusalem, and he stressed that the imposition of peace by force is not a solution, calling for the launch of a serious and effective political path that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinians and achieves stability in the region.

The extraordinary Arab summit began with a speech by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, the head of the current session of the Arab Summit, in which he stressed the confidence and certainty that adhering to the path of permanent and comprehensive peace is the guarantor framework for the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate historical rights in self -determination, and the establishment of its independent national state, based on the two -state solution, as confirmed by the Arab Initiative for Peace, and all historical decisions, and all historical decisions and plans Subsequent Arabic, in addition to the decisions that will be issued by this meeting in the interest of the Palestinian people, as he stressed the Kingdom’s rejection of any attempts to displace and settle.

In this context, the King of Bahrain praised the initiative of Egypt before the summit on the Gaza Strip, calling for supporting this plan that contributes to strengthening fraternal ties, protecting our national security, and enhancing our collective ability to face the challenges that our common interests are exposed to, and in a way that preserves our development gains, ways of progress and prosperity.
