South Korea .. 15 people were injured in 8 bombs during maneuvers

Military officials and firefighting authorities in South Korea announced today, Thursday, that 15 people were injured during live ammunition maneuvers.
Two South Korean Air Force fighters were accidentally brought down eight air-to-ground bombs outside the training area during those maneuvers.

Living ammunition maneuvers in South Korea

The South Korean Yonhap News Agency indicated that the authorities said that the incident occurred in a village in the city of Bushion, about 40 km north of Seoul.

The incident resulted in the injury of 15 people, including two soldiers and two foreign people, with injuries ranging from slight to serious, and a church and seven other buildings were damaged.
The authorities expect the number of injured people in light of the increasing number of people who requested medical treatment.

The shell fell on a house

The authorities reported that they had received a notification around ten in the morning (local time) that the shell fell on a house in the city, which is 43 km north of the capital, Seoul.
7 people were wounded and several buildings were destroyed, pointing out that investigations are currently conducting to determine the circumstances of the shell fall on the house.

American aircraft carrier

An American aircraft carrier had arrived in South Korea, in a review of the power, days after North Korea conducting a cruise missile test to review its capabilities to face any attack.
The South Korean Navy stated that the arrival of the USS Carl Vinson and its offensive group to the South Korean port of Busan is aimed at showing the firm coalition between the American and South Korean armies.
This comes in the face of the ongoing North Korean threats, and support the possibility of the inter -operation of the common assets of the two countries.

American military origins

The South Korean Navy noted that this is the first time an American aircraft carrier arrives in South Korea since last June.
It is expected that the carrier is being sent to the anger of North Korea, which sees the deployment of such strong US military assets with great security threats.
