Abu Dhabi, March 8 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, confirmed that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, had the biggest role in empowering women, and transforming the ideas, principles and values that the UAE was based on policies, programs and initiatives on the ground that support women and enhance their capabilities and location, Continuous achievements were achieved for half a century.
His Excellency said, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 of each year, that without the efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates” and her continuous support, and her follow -up to the file of women, children and family, these achievements that we proud of the world have been fulfilled and put them on International Women’s Day as an experience around the world that the world can benefit from.
His Excellency explained that the celebration of the International Women’s Day under the year of society, which the UAE is experiencing, makes us more faithful to the capabilities and energies of women in supporting and enhancing the values of society and protecting it and qualifying new generations from its children, and this is what we learned from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, which puts the support and care of Emirati women at the top of his priorities, because he sees in it one of the most important elements on which the Emirati society is based, A partner in all the steps of the Emirati renaissance in various fields, stressing that the achievements of Emirati women have become a global model that we are proud of.
His Excellency said that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan “may God rest his soul”, was convinced that the great energies of women are necessary to develop the country, and this conviction shared by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, so I worked with him and after him to launch these energies for the benefit of women and the homeland, for half a century.
His Excellency stressed that the celebration of the International Women’s Day makes us more proud of Emirati women as a global model, as she realized their great capabilities and proper nature that tolerance generates sympathy, and people can be different in sex, age, nationality, religion, language, culture, capabilities or situation in life, from dialogue and cooperation as human beings, where each of them deserves dignity and respect, as I learned that we must cooperate together and share with everyone. Because her belief that understanding others allows us to accept differences to unite together for our common humanity, noting that women all over the world excel in unleashing the power of tolerance and productive coexistence, and their impact is increasing in this direction and that it added a lot to the global environment of her wisdom, sympathy, openness and deep respect to humans, and these features extended from the workplace to the home being a mother, and the experience has moved With its positive effects of new generations.
His Excellency explained that the role of women in the renaissance and progress does not need more explanation, as the successes of Emirati women and their achievements in various fields thanks to the support and encouragement of good leadership since the founding of the state, including their role in promoting the values of coexistence and tolerance within the UAE society known for its cultural diversification and at the global level, stressing that the Emirati people are proud that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak is a role model and a global model to be followed in promoting the values of giving and tolerance And human coexistence through its humanitarian and development initiatives at the local and global levels, as its white hands extended to various countries of the world, targeting the good and prosperity of mankind, enhancing human ties, upgrading and empowering women wherever they are.
