Tomorrow .. the start of the Sheikh Zayed Ramadan Festival championship for prizes of one million dirhams

Abu Dhabi, March 9/ WAM/ The “Sheikh Zayed Ramadan Festival Championship” will start in partnership between the supreme committee organizing the festival and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and sponsored by Emirates NBD, and the competitions will continue until the nineteenth of March.
The statement issued today by the organizing committee stated that the tournament is one of the largest and most important Ramadan sports championships at the state level, expected to have wide participation from different groups of society.

The tournament comes within the framework of efforts to consolidate the position of the Sheikh Zayed Festival as a major destination for hosting major Ramadan sporting events, and spreading a culture of physical activity among members of society.

The championship includes ten sports games: (Seven Football, Plot, Beach Volleyball, Running Racing, Bicycle Racing, Heritage Games (Cord and Motor Perfumes), Budget Fall, Table Tennis, and Chess). The event will witness the provision of valuable incentives and prizes to the public, through daily withdrawals and immediate gifts, in appreciation of their interaction and support for the championship.
The organizing committee emphasized that the tournament provides an integrated sports and recreational environment, which combines challenge and pleasure, through a series of interesting competitions that contribute to raising the level of societal interaction with sport. And she will monitor her huge financial prizes that exceed more than a million dirhams, in order to enhance the competitive nature and stimulate the wide participation of different groups.
The tournament activities will be held daily from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am during the weekends, allowing the opportunity to participate for all groups of society in a distinct Ramadan sporty atmosphere.

The organizing committee of the championship announced that the competition schedule and the mechanism for the accreditation of the participating lists are being announced, in line with the goals of sporting events in promoting societal interaction, and consolidating the competitive values ​​that reflect the sporting spirit between the participants.
Financial prizes were distributed to the sports participating in the championship by 180 thousand dirhams for the Seven Football Football, 60 thousand dirhams for the pair, and the same for beach volleyball, 127 thousand dirhams for the running race, 113 thousand dirhams for the bicycle race, 155 thousand for heritage games (tightening the cord and the sermon), and 35 thousand for the feathers, and the same for table tennis, and the same for chess, and it will be able Visitors from participating in daily withdrawals and entertainment competitions that provide them with chances of winning cash and special gifts.

In turn, His Excellency Aref Al -Awani, Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, stressed that organizing the Sheikh Zayed Sports Festival championship in coordination with the festival management reflects the commitment of the Council to support sports initiatives that enhance the healthy lifestyle and encourage community members to practice physical activities in a fun competitive atmosphere.
