المملكة: The Journalists Authority signs a partnership agreement with the electronic university

The Saudi Electronic University and the Saudi Journalists Authority today signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of strengthening the partnership between academic and media institutions in the Kingdom to serve the common goals of both parties.
The two sides were represented in signing the agreement at the university’s headquarters in Riyadh, the President of the Saudi Electronic University, Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Mardi, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Journalists Authority, two members of Al -Ahmari.
The agreement includes several areas of joint cooperation, most notably the organization of training and consulting programs in the fields of media, and the implementation of joint programs aimed at achieving the common goals between the university and the authority.

Future projects

It aims to enhance the positive image of academic outputs through effective partnerships, in addition to providing mutual use of the facilities and halls of the two parties in a way that contributes to improving the academic and media work environment, and also contributes to developing students and journalists’ skills through workshops and academic studies that keep pace with the latest developments in the field of media.
The two parties aim to launch joint future projects that include the establishment of specialized media studies centers and academic programs that focus on digital media, in line with the needs of the local and regional market.
The President of the Saudi Electronic University stressed the importance of this partnership with the Saudi Journalists Authority in light of the great development of what the Saudi media is witnessing with all its means, to transfer and enhance the renaissance that the Kingdom is experiencing at all levels.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Journalists Authority explained that the signing of this agreement comes in the context of the efforts made by the authority to serve the media and the media and raise the quality of the media training outcomes.
