Under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi .. The announcement of the winners of the Sharjah Prize for Gulf Women’s Creativity

Sharjah, March 13/ WAM/ Under the patronage of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, the Cultural Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah announced the results of the seventh session of the Sharjah Prize for Gulf Women’s Creativity for the year 2025.
In the field of critical studies, Dr. Sabah bint Abdul Karim Issawi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won her studies, “The dialectic of the ego and the other in Arab journal literature, a reading in the critical achievement”, and Professor Dr. Nadia Hanawi Saadoun from Iraq won her study “the comparison of the ego and the other on the fictional journey.” While Sumaya Ali Raheef from Iraq won the jury award for her studies, “Attracting the opposite between the ego and the other in the short story (the story of the sea giants and its dwarfs for Fathi al -Nimr as a model).”
In the field of vertical poetry, Dr. Dalal Bint Bandar Al -Maliki from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won the “coma” office, and Afaf bint Hussein Al -Harbi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Diwan “on the threshold of absence.”
In the field of children’s literature – the short story, Badria bint Mohammed Al -Badri from the Sultanate of Oman won the story of “Me and my friend”, and Maryam Khalifa Al -Shehhi from the United Arab Emirates about the story “What does it mean to belong?”, While Nada Ahmed Verdun from the Kingdom of Bahrain won the jury award for her story “Shampoo of Wonder Feeling”.
The winner of the Cultural Personality Award will soon be announced, where a Gulf women figure with a prominent cultural presence and cultural presence will be honored.
The Sharjah Award for Gulf Women’s Creativity comes in support of women’s creativity in the Arabian Gulf, their intellectual visions in cultural and literary issues, and to enhance the role of fictional and poetic literature and critical studies of women in the countries of the Cooperation Council, and an effective contribution to enriching modern Gulf literature, in addition to stirring the spirit of positive competition in literary creativity between people with experiences and experiences.
In this context, His Excellency Salha Ghabb, head of the Cultural Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, said that the percentage of participants in the award in its seventh session was higher than previous sessions, which indicates the success of the award and the interest of creators in all its details, which enhances the award management’s endeavor to develop it.
Her Excellency affirmed that this award is the first of its kind at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as it deals with the creativity of women in the field of narrative narration, stories, poetry, theater and the child’s literature, noting that competition in this session was severe, which necessitated the allocation of the “Jury Award” for the second year in a row. A prominent Gulf women’s female figure will also be honored in the course.
His Excellency Salha Gabbash stressed that the award aims to provide an opportunity for the largest number of literary items to participate, which contributes to creating an influential cultural literary movement.
