The Jordanian monarch stresses calm and reconstruction in Gaza

The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, stressed the importance of a comprehensive calm in the region, stressing the need to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, support the reconstruction of the Strip without the displacement of its residents, and the resumption of entry to aid.

The Jordanian monarch, during his meeting today, Monday, in Rome, Italian President Sergio Mattarella, warned of the danger of escalation in the West Bank, and violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

King Abdullah II pointed out the importance of Italy’s role in providing humanitarian aid to the sector and its contributions to the human air bridge.

The Jordan News Agency stated that the meeting held in the presidential palace in the Italian capital also witnessed the discussion of friendship between the two countries, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
