The Secretary General of the Cooperation Council discusses in Brussels to strengthen the Gulf -European relations

Jassim Mohamed Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, discussed in the Belgian capital, Brussels, today, with the deputy head of the AFT Foreign Affairs Committee in the European Parliament, Hana Jalloul, ways to enhance the Gulf -European relations, and many joint files, including developments to exempt citizens of the GCC from the Schengen visa, and the outputs of the first European Gulf Summit held in October 2024.
The two sides also exchanged views on developments and developments in a number of regional and international issues, foremost of which is the tragic conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing violations against the Palestinian people.
At the end of the meeting, Al -Badawi expressed his appreciation for the European efforts to raise part of the sanctions imposed on Syria, because of this impact in supporting stability and development of the Syrian people.
