10.8 thousand companies in “Jafza” at the end of 2024

Jabal Ali Javza’s Free Zone – affiliated to the Dubai Ports Group (DPDDDDD), the pioneering provider of integrated smart logistical solutions, aimed at enabling the trade flow around the world – has a strong increase in the number of new companies that joined the work in the region during the past year, recording 990 new companies, bringing the total number of companies operating in “Jafza” to 10 thousand and 850 companies by the end of 2024.
According to a document issued by the Dubai Ports Group, the Emirates Today obtained a copy of it, the number of new companies in “Javza” increased during the year 2024, by about 12.5%, compared to 2023, as the free zone of Jabal Ali was attracted 880 companies.
The total number of companies operating in the region increased by about 7.5% from 10 thousand and 100 companies by the end of 2023 to 10 thousand and 850 companies by the end of last year.
Javza is one of the largest free trade areas in the world, and a headquarters for thousands of companies from more than 150 countries, including major multinationals.
Javza contributes a noticeable rate of the total foreign direct investment in Dubai, while it provides more than 135,000 jobs.
Thanks to the distinguished strategic location at the global trade crossroads, Jebel Ali and Javza port provides an integrated multimedia system, including maritime, air and land transport, and also includes large -scale logistical facilities, with direct access to markets of more than 3.5 billion consumer.
