We are close to regaining full control of the Corsak area
Russian President Vladimir Putin said today, Wednesday, that the Russian forces are close to restoring full control of the Russian Kursk region, located on the border with Ukraine.
Putin added, during a meeting with security officials: “Our forces have recently implemented a series of bold and effective attacks, and it is now completing the destruction of the enemy forces group in the Corsak area.”

Russian forces
Last week, Russian forces regained the town of Soda, the largest settlement seized by the Ukrainian forces in Kursk during their counter -attack last summer.
Only a few small settlements near the border, and Kiev, had previously denied the Kremlin reports to besiege thousands of Ukrainian soldiers or a full Ukrainian withdrawal from the area.
