Under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Ministry of Defense launched the “Zayed Al Khair Vina” initiative, in conjunction with the UAE celebration of “Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action”, which falls on 19 Ramadan every year, and corresponding to the anniversary of the departure of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him.

The initiative aims to enhance the values ​​of humanitarian action and social solidarity, in line with the spirit of giving and compassion that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless him, has been established, as it falls within the efforts of supporting the “year of society”, by involving various groups of society and consolidating the culture of giving and volunteer work.

The initiative included the distribution of fasting breakfast meals on all the emirates of the country, including Al -Ain and Al -Dhafra regions, in cooperation with government and private agencies and in coordination with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
