"DP and Record charitable" Zayed revives humanitarian work with community initiatives

Dubai, March 20 / WAM / The DB World Charity Foundation, the charitable arm of the Dubai Ports Group, celebrated the day of Zayed for humanitarian work, to revive the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul”, whose vision of charitable work and social welfare inspires humanitarian efforts in the UAE and the world.
On this occasion, Sultan bin Salim, Chairman and CEO of the Dubai Ports Group “DP and Drd”, participated in major initiatives, stressing the group’s commitment to social responsibility.
His visit included Ramadan breakfast distribution sites, food supply distribution points, interaction with volunteers and workers, as community members participated in eating breakfast in the Ramadan tent, along with executives and dignitaries.
“We are honored to celebrate the day of Zayed for humanitarian work through initiatives that reflect the values ​​of the UAE in solidarity and generosity, and these efforts are in line with the state’s announcement of allocating in 2025 to be” the year of society “, which enhances our common responsibility to support the needy.
In cooperation with its community partners – including Dubai navigational city, the Customs, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Jafza, Dubai World Ports, Emirates Food Bank, Euroliv, ILT and Nour Dubai – launched a series of influential initiatives aimed at supporting fragile communities through food and health programs.
Humanitarian initiatives include: the basic food support “Al -Mir Ramadan” in cooperation with the Emirates Food Bank, and the distribution of more than 1,000 food supply boxes in the port of Hamriyah and the port of the port, benefiting sailors and workers, and in cooperation with the Nour Dubai Foundation, it facilitated free consideration of the Javza workers, and the distribution of breakfast meals, where the Foundation provides 12,000 breakfast meals per day for Javza workers.
