In anticipation of any emergency .. France increases the production of “Rafale” combat aircraft
European countries, including France, are seeking to enhance defense spending and increase weapons production in the face of a potential American security withdrawal and the Russian threat linked to the war in Ukraine.
Macron said on Tuesday that France will increase and speed up requests to buy Rafale aircraft.
Increase fighter production
Erik Trabia, CEO of Daso Airlines, said that the company increased its production from one war plane per month in 2020 to more than two aircraft per month this year, and that it is working with suppliers to accelerate the frequency of the production of combat aircraft.
“We are planning to deliver three aircraft a month next year, and four planes between 2028 and 2029.”
Trabia pointed out that if the government of France’s approval, his company will also be “ready to provide its services” to any country that has declined its requests to buy the American-made F-25 fighter planes since President Donald Trump took office.
The French Defense Minister confirmed last month that the Air Force needed between 20 and 30 additional Rafale aircraft to confront any emergency.
