“The worst at all” .. the high number of victims of forest fires in Korea

South Korea authorities announced the rise of the death toll from the raging forest fires in South East Korea to 24 people, a number that may rise with more people injury and the continued firefighting.
“24 people have been killed in fires so far and 12 others were seriously injured, adding that these are” temporary numbers, “said an official at the South Korean Ministry of Interior, according to the South Korean Yonhap News Agency.

Strong and dry winds

The fires began in the town of “Sanchyung” in the province of “Jeonjanj”, and extended to the neighboring town of “Owaong”, where the strong and dry winds are fed.
