Europe requires Russia’s withdrawal from Ukraine before the sanctions are lifted

A spokesman for the European Union confirmed on Wednesday that the “unconditional withdrawal” of the Russian forces from the “entire lands of Ukraine” is one of the main conditions for lifting or mitigating European sanctions on Russia.
The spokesman said that “the end of the unjustified Russian aggression in Ukraine and the unconditional withdrawal of all Russian military forces from the entire territory of Ukraine are essential conditions for modifying or lifting sanctions.”
