Faris Mohamed Al -Mutawa, Secretary -General of the National Olympic Committee, during the meeting, reviewed the amendments to the International Olympic Charter, which was updated on January 30, which are fundamental amendments in the history of the International Olympic Movement, especially with regard to the Olympic participants, qualification mechanisms, the right to host and organize the Olympic cycles, and increase the role of the National Olympic Committees in participating in decisions regarding the selection of cities nominated to hold Olympic forums.

After the regular meeting of the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum witnessed the signing ceremony of the agreement to host the headquarters of national sports federations at the new headquarters of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai, which includes 21 national sports federations from various individual and group sports.
