Europe .. 11 people arrested in extensive raids against drug crimes

Security authorities launched a massive raid and inspection campaign in Europe against organized drug crimes.
Since Thursday morning, security forces have searched residential and commercial real estate in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain.

Narcotics crimes in Europe

11 arrest warrants were implemented against suspects, according to the Central Agency for Organized Crime in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

According to the data, another person was temporarily arrested and 32 real estate searches, and procedures and investigations are still ongoing. According to the authorities’ data, the campaign was concentrated in the Cologne/Bon region.

Drug trafficking in Europe

The campaign comes against the background of an investigation into a suspicion of drug trafficking “in significant quantities.” The authorities indicated that the aim of the campaign also is to seize evidence and confiscate assets.
According to the data, the inspections in Germany also included Aachen, Bon, Ouquerchen, Colonia, Opebergash, Renn-Arfit, Rain-Zig, Baden-Forttemberg and Renland-Betles.
