Millions of British workers are in the process of obtaining an increase in wages

Millions of British workers are scheduled to get an increase in wages after increasing the legal minimum wage on Tuesday, in a move that unions believe will help enhance economic growth.
However, business groups have warned of the potential impact of the high wage bills and a set of tax increases related to the budget that entered into force, according to the British News Agency (BA Media).
The government said that more than 3 million workers across the country will benefit from these increases after announcing the increase in the autumn budget last year.
As of today, Tuesday, the national wage of living for everyone who works at the age of 21 and more, gives an increase in wages of up to 1400 pounds (1800 dollars) throughout the year, on the basis of 35 working hours per week.
According to the increase of 6.7%, employees will receive 12.21 pounds per hour, an increase of 77 pence over the current living wages of 11.44 pounds.
The government said that full -time workers can receive additional 26 pounds per week, and 117 pounds per month.
The national minimum wage, which covers those who are at the age of 21 or less, will increase to 10 pounds per hour for those at the age of 18 to 20 years, an increase of 16.3%, and to 7.55 pounds for those who are 16 and 17 years old, an increase of 18%.
Paul Nouak, Secretary -General of the General Federation of Trade Unions, told BA Media: This increase will make a real difference for the least -paid people in this country at a time when one of every six people is forced to dispense with meals to manage their affairs.
