More than 100 people were injured .. The fire of the gas tube explosion in Malaysia

The fire caused by the explosion of a gas tube extended to several houses, and led to the escalation of a pillar of the flame towards the sky today, in a suburb outside Kuala Lumpur, the largest city in Malaysia, wounding more than 100 people.
The huge fire, which broke out near a gas station in the “Botra Heights” area outside Kuala Lumpur, was visible from a kilometer, and lasted for several hours.
The fire broke out during an official holiday, where Muslims – who make up the majority in Malaysia – celebrate the second day of Eid Al -Fitr.
The National Oil Company “Petronas” said in a statement that the fire broke out in one of its gas pipelines at 08:10 am local time, and the damaged pipeline was removed later.
While disaster management officials explained that the closure of the gas pipeline valves will eventually lead to extinguishing the fire.
