Fujairah on April 3/ WAM/ The number of active commercial licenses registered with the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry reached 11503 licenses in 2024, compared to 10807 licenses in 2023, an increase of about 6 percent.
His Excellency all the Handasi, Director General of the Chamber, explained that the number of new licenses that were registered with the Chamber during the year 2024 amounted to 1375 licenses, with an increase of about 7 percent over the previous year, while the number of renewed licenses reached 10128 in 2024, an increase of about 5 percent over the previous year.
Al -Hindasi added that the total number of members of the room was 30320 in 2024, compared to 28937 in 2023, with an increase of about 4.8 percent, indicating that this means an increase in demand for investment in Fujairah.
According to the statistical data of the registration movement, the value of the establishment’s certificates issued by the Chamber amounted to more than 13 billion dirhams last year, an increase of about 18 percent during the same period of the year 2023.
The data showed that the certificates of contracts issued by the Chamber in 2024 amounted to 1384 contracts, while 948 contracts in 2023, and the number of signing health documents reached 392 in 2024 compared to 239 documents.
