Search a long -term strategy to restructure the Ukrainian army

The Chief of Staff of the French and British Army held a visit to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, today, Saturday, high -level talks aimed at strengthening support for Ukraine in its battle against Russia.
The French Army Chief of Staff, Thierry Burkar, went to Kiev, accompanied by his British counterpart, Tony Radakin.

European support for Ukraine

Military officials met with Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski, the Commander -in -Chief of the Ukrainian Army Olksander Serski, and the Minister of Defense Rustam Amrouf.

They discussed more military aid to Ukraine, in addition to a long -term strategy to restructure the Ukrainian armed forces, according to Burkar on the “X” platform.
The chiefs of staff of the armies also discussed the issue of deploying international peacekeepers in Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire, according to Burkar.

The war of Russia and Ukraine

France and the United Kingdom have expressed their willingness to send forces to Ukraine as part of the so -called “Alliance of those who wish” to participate in observing a possible ceasefire, but they are looking for additional partners.
Burkar wrote: “Together, we want to ensure a permanent and crucifixion peace in Ukraine, which is an important prerequisite for the security of the European continent,” Burkar wrote.
