المملكة: Legislative developments and vision 2030 .. A legal forum at King Abdulaziz University

Under the patronage of the Vice President of King Abdulaziz University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Amin Numan, the activities of the first scientific forum for graduate students in law were launched at the King Faisal Conference Center, under the title “Legal developments in the light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030”, in addition to the exhibition accompanying the forum.
The forum aims to highlight the effective impact of legal legislation in achieving the target of the Kingdom’s vision, while emphasizing the importance of developing legal skills among graduate students.

Scientific sessions

Scientific sessions included several axes that dealt with developments in international commercial law, modern aspects in administrative law, and the development of concepts of civil and criminal responsibility.
The program also included training workshops and scientific interventions, in addition to dialogue sessions entitled “Soft Saudi Power”, the final of student debates, and a lecture specialized in persuasion and influence arts.

Advanced societies

In his speech, Dr. Amin Noman stressed that the law is one of the basic columns in building advanced societies, as it is a tool for achieving justice, protecting rights and consolidating community security, noting that strengthening the rule of law comes within the strategic priorities of the 2030 vision.
He called on male and female graduates to benefit from the scientific capabilities provided by the university, and focus on the quality and outputs of research.

Legal environment

While the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Sultan Aba Al -Ela, indicated that the existence of an integrated legal environment contributes to enhancing confidence in national institutions and attracting foreign investments, stressing the importance of the forum as a cognitive platform that enables students to develop their academic and practical skills.
He explained that the event is not limited to raising legal issues, but also contributes to building the capabilities of students in the areas of rhetoric and influential communication, to prepare a generation of legal legal people to make positive change in society.
