France may recognize the Palestinian state next June

Emmanuel Macron announced that France may recognize the State of Palestine in June, on the occasion of a conference on Palestine held in New York.
The French President said: “We have to go towards confession, and we will do so in the coming months,” adding, “Our goal is to head this conference in June, where we can accomplish the move to mutual recognition of the State of Palestine with several parties.”
“I will do this because I think it will be true at some point, and to go towards joint security in the region,” Macron added.
