"ADNOC" It hosts the meeting of the US Energy Minister and the leaders of the energy sector in the Emirates

Abu Dhabi, April 10/ WAM/ His Excellency Chris Wright, USA Minister of Energy, met today at ADNOC headquarters, a number of officials in the energy, technology and investment sectors in the UAE, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and explore opportunities to build new partnerships, during his first official tour abroad since he took his duties.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director, CEO of Adenk and its group of companies, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Masdar”, Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of “XRG”, welcomed the American Minister and His Excellency Martina Strong, the US ambassador to the country.
After that, the Emirati and American sides held a meeting in the presence of His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure and the participation of a number of leaders of the energy, artificial intelligence and investment sectors in the UAE, including Mohamed Jamil Al -Ramahi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, “Source”, and Mut Al -Kaabi, CEO of the Exploration, Development and Production Department in “ADNOC”, Khaled Salmin, CEO of the Refining Department Manufacturing, marketing and trade in “ADNOC”, CEO of Operations at XRG, and Thomas Pramotidham, CEO of Brissit, Mansour Mohamed Al Hamed, Managing Director and CEO of Mubadala Energy Company, Dr. Bakhit Al Kathiri, CEO of the Investment Sector in Mubadala Investment Company, Maganan Kenispay, Acting Director of AII Qi.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber said that in line with the leadership vision, the extension and enhancement of bridges of communication and international cooperation, we are pleased to welcome His Excellency Chris Wright at the headquarters of ADNOC, after the successful meetings conducted by the UAE delegation headed by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the National Security Adviser, in the American capital, Washington, last month. He added that this visit comes in a stage in which global markets are witnessing accelerating changes and sharing in the UAE with the United States visions, ideas and supportive directions to enhance the partnership between our two friendly two countries, and we adopt a close view aimed at ensuring reliable energy supplies, and to benefit from the tools and solutions of artificial intelligence to maintain the benefits of competitive cost, build qualitative partnerships in the field of advanced technology, and create new opportunities Stimulating growth, supportive of the energy sector and contributing to enabling individuals and societies. ”
During the visit, His Excellency Chris Wright listened to an explanation about “XRG”, the Specific International Investment Company in the Energy Sector, which explores many strategic investment opportunities in the United States of America.
The company focuses on projects in various aspects and stages of the value chain for the energy sector within the fields of gas, infrastructure for the energy sector, chemicals, and low -carbon energy solutions.
After meeting the leaders of the energy, artificial intelligence sectors and investment in the country, His Excellency Chris Wright visited the “ADNOC Center for Artificial Intelligence”, during which he looked at the company’s efforts to integrate artificial intelligence in various aspects and stages of its business, starting from the control rooms to the executive management meetings, to enhance safety standards, enhance value, and reduce emissions, as part of its efforts to become the energy company most benefiting from Artificial intelligence in the world in a way that establishes the benefits of competitive cost in the markets that witness accelerated variables.
Within the activities of the visit, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Jaber and His Excellency Chris Wright hosted the “Future Leadership Council in the Energy Sector”, during which they met a number of young Emirati cadres of engineers, scientists, technicians and specialists in the technical and analytical fields.
The Council witnessed the participation of a number of young Emirati and American cadres from “ADNOC”, Emirates Nuclear Energy Company, “Masdar”, and “XRG” in addition to representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in the UAE and the US Energy Ministry.
Participants exchanged visions and ideas, and discussed ways to benefit from this important stage in which the world’s view of the energy sector is increasing as an engine for progress and prosperity.
