A source told the Associated Press (AB) Thursday that six people were killed in a helicopter crash in the Hudson River in New York City, off Manhattan on Thursday.
The Fire Department stated that it had received a report on the fall of a helicopter in the river around 1517 pm. The crash occurred in the river near Houston Street and the Holland Tunnel.

Photo clips on social media showed helicopter and water is mostly overwhelmed.

The Fire Department stated that its units are conducting rescue operations at the site of the accident. Several rescue boats appeared in the clip.
The rescue boats were close to the location of the waterfront of Manhattan, close to a long maintenance pavement. Fire trucks and other emergency vehicles were sent near the accident site.
