The conclusion of the Emirates National Martial Arts Championship

Today, the activities of the third edition of the Emirates National Martial Arts Championship, which were organized by the Emirates Federation for Jujitsu and Mixed Martial Arts over two days in Al -Ahly Youth Club in Dubai, were concluded, amid the participation of more than 300 players and players in different age groups, and a public reaction that reflects the growing popularity of sports in the country.
The closing day of the championship witnessed a remarkable presence of the two categories A (16-17 years) and the adults (18 years and over), where the young players succeeded in drawing attention to their skills, while the adult category remittances were distinguished by enthusiasm, as the players performed a strong performance that inflamed the fans.
Youssef Abdullah Al -Batran, a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Jujitsu and Martial Arts Mixed Arts, praised the success of the third edition of the tournament and the distinguished participation it witnessed, and wide attention from various clubs and academies.
He said that the tournament keeps pace with the Federation’s vision in developing the base of practitioners, discovering talents and preparing heroes, and enhancing the presence of mixed martial arts sport in the local sports scene and the participation and diversity of these age groups reflects the keenness to build generations capable of competing at the highest levels locally, regionally and globally.
He added that the third edition of the tournament is an important station within the agenda of preparing the players for the upcoming entitlements, most notably the sixth edition of the World Mixed Martial Arts Championship for Junior in Abu Dhabi July 2025.
Econica Andenite, a coach at the Adma Academy, said that the academy team participated in today’s competitions with more than 40 players and the championship is of great importance to us because it witnessed a wide participation of distinguished players from various clubs and academies of the country, which gives our players a unique opportunity to test their skills and try the new technologies and skills that they learned, as well as highlighting their ability to win and win medals, and enhance their preparations to go through International championships.
“I am happy to participate in the championship for the second time, as I lost in the last version to be subjected, but I did not give up and continued the training and I received great support from my family, coaches and colleagues in the club, and today I succeeded in winning the first place. The battles were strong and I thank the Emirates Federation for Jujitsu and Mixed Martial Arts for its continuous support and efforts in the better organization Championships.
