المملكة: At a cost of 1.2 billion riyals .. “National Water” implements 14 new projects in Hail

The National Water Company, represented by its northern sector, has begun implementing 14 water and environmental projects in the Hail region at a cost of more than 1.2 billion riyals, with the aim of strengthening the infrastructure system, and raising the efficiency of water and environmental services provided to the population, within the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

The most prominent projects

The company explained that the projects include 12 water projects at a cost exceeding one billion riyals, which include extending lines and water networks with a length of more than 1.342 longitudinal kilometers, in addition to establishing two pumping stations with a total endeavor about 4 thousand cubic meters per day, which contributes to raising the efficiency of distribution and meeting the increasing demand for water.

The works also included the implementation of two environmental projects exceeding 134 million riyals, and it included sewage networks with a length of more than 153 km, in addition to operating capacity stations exceeding 23 thousand cubic meters per day, in order to improve the efficiency of drainage services and water treatment.

“National Water” stressed that these projects represent a pivotal step within its strategic plan to expand the scope of service in the region, improve the quality of life, and enhance the sustainability of resources, in line with the targets of comprehensive development in the Kingdom.
