The Minister of Industry discusses investment opportunities with officials in Indonesia

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al -Khuraif, held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of State -owned companies in Indonesia, Eric Tuhir, during which he discussed reinforcement between the two countries, and to explore joint investment opportunities in the industry and mining sectors.
The meeting affirmed the strength of the strategic relations that link the two brotherly countries, the importance of developing cooperation and building effective partnerships between the Kingdom and Indonesia in various economic sectors, especially in the industrial and mining sectors, in a way that contributes to achieving economic diversity and supports sustainable development.

National Industry Strategy

During the meeting, it reviewed the targets, the promising investment opportunities it provides, in addition to the possibilities and services the Kingdom provides to investors.

The two parties discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of supply chains, logistics services, infrastructure development, and mutual opportunities in the field of car components industry.

Investment opportunities

On the other hand, the Minister of Industry met with the Executive Director of the Indonesian Export and Import Bank, Sukato Baddosukarsu, and discussed with him the strengthening of bilateral relations, supporting exporters and facilitating the entry into force of exports between the two countries.

Al -Khuraif witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Export and Import Bank and the Indonesian Export and Import Bank to enhance cooperation in the field of export and empower exports between the two sides, in the presence of the CEO of the Saudi Export and Import Bank Saad Al -Khalab, and the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Indonesia Faisal Al -Amoudi.
The two meetings come within the official visit of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources to the Republic of Indonesia, which aims to expand the horizons of joint cooperation between the two countries in the industry and mining sectors, and explore mutual investment opportunities.
