Signing the agreement to build Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak and a dialysis center in Chad

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, the Emirates Agency for International Aid and the government of the Republic of Chad signed the agreement to build Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak and the dialysis center in Angelina, the capital of the Republic of Chad.
The agreement was signed in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Humanitarian Foundation, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Health Week, and the presence of Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State and Chairman of the Health Consulting Committee for International Development, and Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, Mansour Ibrahim Al -Mansouri, and Minister of Finance The budget, economy, planning and international cooperation in Chad, Taher Hamed Ankalin, signed the agreement from the UAE side, President of the Emirates Agency for International Aid, Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al -Amri, and from the Chadian side, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation, Taher Hamid Ansulin.
The agreement stipulated the construction and operation of the “Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital” in the Chadian capital, Angina, on a dedicated land from the Chad government with a total area of 11 thousand and 300 square meters, of which 9500 square meters are as an area for building the hospital, and an area of 1800 square meters for the building of the medical staff, in addition to allocating an area of 4200 square meters to build and operate a “specialized dialysis center” equipped with the latest medical technologies, and provides the latest Health services to provide the necessary therapeutic care for dialysis patients.
Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, stressed that the establishment of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital and a specialized center for dialysis in Angina, the capital of Chad, an embodiment of the immortal human heritage of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, to serve all humanity, and to continue for the leading Emirati world role in developing needy societies, and meeting the aspirations of peoples in obtaining the necessary health care services For various categories and slides of men, women and children.

He explained that Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital in Angelina will include 11 specialized clinics, including children, gynecology, teeth, bones, urinary tract, eyes, nose, ear and throat, skin, internal medicine, heart disease, general medicine, and contains 100 beds, three operating rooms, and three birth rooms, pointing out that the number of beneficiaries of health services provided by the hospital reaches more than 1.7 million people, while serving the center A specialist for dialysis is more than 9% of the population of the Chadian capital, Angina, and includes 80 beds to treat kidney patients.
In turn, the Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation in Chad, Taher Hamed Ankalin, thanked the government of the Republic of Chad to the UAE represented by the Emirates Agency for International Aid that will supervise the construction and operation of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital and the dialysis center in Angelina, which will work significantly to enhance the medical services provided, and improve the quality of treatment for various segments of men, women and children, and will be reflected in The presence of such health facilities in the areas of development in general in our country, and will provide many job opportunities for the local population, as well as creating economic opportunities in the field of providing services, such as providing transportation, food, gifts and other supplies.
