"Federal National" The European Parliament discusses the enhancement of cooperation

Abu Dhabi, April 17/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council, met at the council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, His Excellency David Mc Alkter, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the European Parliament.

During the meeting, ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the Federal National Council and the European Parliament were discussed, and to emphasize the importance of developing relations between the two sides in issues of common concern, in order to keep pace with partnership and cooperation relations between the UAE and the European Union.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Al -Nuaimi stressed the importance of strengthening the channels of parliamentary dialogue and cooperation, and the exchange of experiences between legislative institutions, in a way that contributes to supporting parliamentary work and uniting positions towards various regional and international issues, noting that parliamentary diplomacy has become today a major tool to enhance partnerships and support stability and development in a way that achieves the interests of the peoples and countries of the world.

For his part, His Excellency David Mc Alister stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations with the Federal National Council, through exchanging experiences and experiences, and intensifying cooperation on issues of common concern, especially in light of the current global challenges.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sarah Muhammad Flunaz, Dr. Marwan Obaid Al -Muhairi, Mira Sultan Al -Suwaidi, Khaled Omar Al -Kharji, and Sheikh Saeed Al Kaabi, members of the Federal National Council.
