The “Emirates years” initiative .. “10” years of teamwork and positive impact

For a full decade, the “Emirates years” initiative has been working to unify efforts under a comprehensive vision, in which national values ​​are established, strengthened social ties, and enhances joint work.

Every year, the initiative raises a distinctive topic that inspires individuals and institutions to contribute to building a more prosperous and comprehensive future.

The initiative of the UAE years through the narrative and the launch of innovative initiatives and partnerships between sectors encourages everyone who considers the UAE a homeland to participate in these efforts, raise awareness, encourage change, and enhance the positive impact in the environmental, health, social and economic fields.

The initiative has worked since its inception in 2015, to provide distinguished topics that contributed to the formation of societal values, encouraging sustainability and stimulating social impact: “2015: the year of innovation – promoting innovation and advanced research .. and 2016: the year of reading – the development of knowledge and the desire to learn for life .. and 2017: the year of goodness – encouraging charitable work and awareness of social responsibility .. and 2018: the year of Zayed – honoring the vision of the founding father of the UAE State The United Arab Emirates .. In 2019: The Year of Tolerance – Promoting the Values ​​of Tolerance and Cultural and Shamilian understanding .. And in 2020: The year of preparation for the fifty – laying the basis for the future of the United Arab Emirates .. and 2021: the year of the fifty – celebration of the golden jubilee of the United Arab Emirates .. and 2023 & 2024: the year of sustainability – strengthening environmental work and social responsibility.

During the year 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, announced his allocation to be a “year of society”, in which he highlighted the basic role of communities, societal initiatives and collective skills in building a more comprehensive and solid state.

Rawda Al -Falasi, “Director of the Community of the Community Project”, shed light on this initiative and said that the UAE years have always reflected our common aspirations, embodying our cooperation, through which we make a sustainable impact, every year constitutes an extension of what preceded it, which enhances the values ​​that stem from our identity and guarantee our continuous growth as an interconnected, interactive and able society.

She added that our strength lies in the ties that we are making, the support that we offer to each other, and the contributions that we participate in in building a prosperous future for all.

Al -Falasi stressed that the success of the community’s general depends on teamwork by taking advantage of the capabilities of government institutions to enhance social ties and encourage public participation and that the private sector can enhance the social responsibility of companies and empower employees for volunteering and contribute and find opportunities that allow skills development.

In confirmation of the role of non -profit institutions and the public, Al -Falasi said that non -profit institutions also play an important role in inspiring the initiatives led by the local community, and linking people to them by encouraging them to contribute to their common issues and issues, and calling for a meaningful social impact and through volunteer work and supporting local issues, individuals can find a motivational environment, in homes and neighborhoods, encourages everyone’s participation without exception, as Each sector has a role that plays, and by working together, we can build a more interconnected, interactive and prosperous society.

The “Year of Society”, which carries the slogan “hand in hand” is an invitation to all sectors of society, including families, government agencies, private institutions, non -profit agencies, “the third sector” and individuals, to play an active role that contributes to forming the UAE in a more comprehensive and interconnected way.

The initiative encourages the renewal of our relationship with the cultural heritage of the state, and to enhance family ties to be more deep and influential, as the initiative aims to build comprehensive spaces that enhance the feeling of belonging and collective spirit and encourage the aimed participation through initiatives that enable individuals and institutions to contribute effectively, whether through volunteering, training or managing community projects with a permanent impact, which helps to spread the spirit of shared responsibility and awareness At the value of teamwork and its role in building a society with responsibility and effective participation.
