المملكة: 66 students participating in the Half Moon Beach Cleaning Initiative in Dhahran

Dhahran City municipality implemented the Half Moon Beach Cleaning Initiative from paper and plastic scattering, which aims to spread awareness, to preserve the environment and the urban scene, with the participation of 66 students from Al -Jazeera schools.
The mayor of Dhahran City, Engineer Faisal Al -Qahtani, explained that these initiatives aim to spread awareness of the importance of preserving the environment, as well as the general appearance, within the framework of the societal responsibility that the municipality takes in terms of protection and rehabilitation of beaches from all waste and damage.

He said that the initiative contributed to achieving goals in serving the environment, in a societal message to the visitors of these places to take care of their cleanliness and clean it after its visit, and that this is a duty for every citizen and resident.
Engineer Faisal Al -Qahtani noted that the initiative reflects the interconnection of society and its interaction to serve the environment in this dear homeland, which is what the municipality is keen on to contribute to achieving one of the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
