America will reach a “very good” agreement with China

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Thursday that the United States will reach a “very good agreement with China” on customs duties, while receiving Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni at the White House.

In response to a journalist’s question whether the United States should worry about a rapprochement between its allies and China as a result of his customs duties, Trump said, “I think we will conclude a very good agreement with China.”

The US President also expressed 100% confidence in reaching a “trade agreement” on the ongoing trade conflict with the European Union, during his meeting with Georgette Meloni.
