During the meeting, His Highness the Minister of Defense conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect them – for his Excellency, and their wishes for the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, more progress and prosperity.
His Excellency carried his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Discuss the developments of the situation

During the meeting, the Saudi -Iranian relations were reviewed and ways to enhance them, discuss the developments of the situation on the regional and international arenas, and the efforts made towards it.

The meeting was attended by the head of the General Staff, the first team, Fayyad bin Hamed Al -Ruwaili, and the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al -Bayari, the adviser to the Royal Court, Khalid bin Farid Hadrawi, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Yemen, Muhammad bin Saeed Al Jaber, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Islamic Republic of Iran Abdullah bin Saud Al -Anzi, and the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
In the Iranian side, the Minister of Defense and the support of the armed forces, Brigadier Aziz Naseer Zadeh, and the assistant chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces for Intelligence and Security, Major General Ghulam Muhbabi, and a number of senior officials.
