More than 18 cultural institutions within the Sharjah Pavilion at the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat

Sharjah, April 17/ WAM/ Participants in the Wing of the Emirate of Sharjah, “Guest of Honor”, at the 30th session of the International Publishing and Writers Exhibition in Rabat, said that participation in this event represents a strategic station in promoting the Emirati cultural presence on the Arab and international scene and opens new prospects for integration and cooperation between the Emirati and Moroccan cultural scenes.
The Sharjah Pavilion, whose activities are supervised by the Sharjah Book Authority, includes more than 18 cultural institutions, while the official delegation of the emirate heads to the exhibition Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, as part of a qualitative participation aimed at highlighting the emirate’s knowledge achievement and building intellectual and institutional partnerships with Moroccan, Arab and international cultural parties.

In turn, His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakad Al -Amiri, CEO of the Sharjah Book Authority, said that the crowning of Sharjah is the guest of honor of the 30th session of the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat embodies on the ground the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah towards building an Arab cultural project in which efforts are integrated and the values meet, Rabat and Sharjah, with their historical position in the establishment of cultural awareness Today they meet on one ground that enhances the unity of Arab cultural discourse and opens new horizons for creative exchange between the East and Morocco.

Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Writers and Writers Union, said that Sharjah is the guest of honor of the International Publishing and Book Fair in Rabat, representing a leading cultural interface that occupies the lead at the level of international book exhibitions and at the level of the cultural movement that is embodied in the number of cultural institutions that the emirate embraces with the diversity of its specialties and interests.
