Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Tourism in Malta

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received today in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ian Burg, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism in the Republic of Malta.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and the possibilities of developing joint cooperation in various fields, including economic, commercial and investment.

His Highness welcomed Dr. Ian Burg, stressing the advanced relations that bring together the UAE and the Republic of Malta, and the mutual keenness to strengthen it in various vital fields that constitute an important tributary to achieve sustainable development in the two countries.

The meeting also dealt with the current developments in the region, in addition to the overall regional and international issues of common concern, as the two sides exchanged views on them.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al -Hajri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs.
