China confirms that Russia is not provided with “deadly weapons” in the Ukrainian war

China confirmed yesterday that it did not provide Russia with “deadly weapons” in the war in Ukraine, rejecting the accusations of Ukrainian President Voludmir Zelinski in this regard. “China has never provided any party in the conflict with deadly weapons, and it strictly supervised the goods of use, as the Ukrainian party realizes this completely,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lyn Jian.
In addition, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he hoped that the Europeans will remain involved in the US -led talks to end the conflict in Ukraine. He explained to reporters at the Parisian Luburgé airport yesterday: “We want to remain involved. I think the United Kingdom, France and Germany can help us pushing the wheel in this context to approach a solution. I saw that their ideas were useful and constructive, during the meetings with them in Paris. ” Rubio said that US President Donald Trump will abandon an attempt to mediate to conclude a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine within days, unless clear indications of the possibility of this appear.
“We will not continue in that attempt for weeks and months without stopping, so we need to determine very quickly now, and I mean within days, whether it is possible to verify in the next few weeks,” Rubio added after a meeting with European and Ukrainian officials in Paris.
He continued: “If this is the case, we are participating, but otherwise we have other priorities to focus on.” Rubio pointed out that Trump is still interested in concluding an agreement, but he is ready to abandon it and move forward unless he sees indications of progress immediately.
During his election campaign, Trump pledged to end the war in Ukraine in the first 24 hours of his return to the White House, and he modified this when he took the position, pointing to the possibility of concluding an agreement by April or May with the growing obstacles to this goal. Rubio reflects the escalation of frustration from the lack of progress in initiatives to settle increasing geopolitical challenges.
