A 5.9 Richter earthquake hit northern Pakistan

An earthquake of 5.9 on the Richter scale struck the northern regions of Pakistan.
The National Earthquake Center in Pakistan said that the earthquake center was 94 km depth in a border area between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

The inhabitants of the northern part of Pakistan, including the capital, Islamabad, were shaken by it, while no news has yet been reported about human or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
