The largest since the outbreak of the war between the two countries … a new Emirati mediation between Russia and Ukraine has succeeded in launching 538 prisoners
Abu Dhabi, April 19 / WAM / The UAE announced the success of mediation efforts made between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine, which led to the completion of the largest prisoner exchange process since the outbreak of the conflict between the two countries, and included 246 prisoners from the Ukrainian side and 246 prisoners from the Russian side, and the mediation process also included the exchange of a number of injured between the two sides as it included 31 Ukrainian and 15 Russian injured people with a total of 538 As a prisoner, the total number of prisoners who was exchanged between the two countries in these mediations reaches 3771 prisoners.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its thanks to the two countries for their cooperation in the success of the Emirati mediation efforts, which reflects their confidence and appreciation for the state’s keenness to support all endeavors to resolve the crisis between the two countries.
