المملكة: “A sinful verb” .. The Council of Senior Scholars: It is not permissible to perform Hajj without a permit

The General Secretariat of the Senior Scholars Authority renewed the confirmation of what was issued by the Council of Senior Scholars with its statement dated 12 Shawwal 1445 AH, regarding the necessity of extracting the permit for those who wanted to go to the Hajj, and that it is not permissible to go to the Hajj without taking a permit, and that whoever performs a pilgrimage is a sinner.
His Excellency the Secretary -General of the Senior Scholars Authority, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al -Majid, said: “The fatwa of the Council of Senior Scholars in this regard was based on a number of legal evidence and rules.”

He continued: It comes at its forefront, what Islamic law decides to facilitate the servants in carrying out their worship and rituals, and lifting the embarrassment for them, God Almighty said: (God wants you to ease and does not want hardship for you), and the Almighty said: (And what made you in religion is embarrassed), and obligating the extraction of the pilgrimage permit, but it came with the intention of organizing the pilgrims, in a way that enables these large groups to perform their rituals, and this is a valid. Sharia.

Achieving the legal interest

It is also – that is, the commitment to extract the permit – is consistent with the required interest in Sharia, because the government agencies concerned with organizing the pilgrimage draw the pilgrimage season plan with its multiple, security, health, accommodation and subsistence aspects, according to the numbers authorized for them, and whenever the number of pilgrims is compatible with the authorized, this is an investigator of the quality of services provided to the pilgrims, and this is what is intentionally intended, as is the meaning of the Almighty. He added: “The commitment to extract the statement is the one who obeyed the guardian in the favor. The Council of Senior Scholars recommended the commitment to extract the permit; This is because the commitment to this pays – with God – great damage, and multiple risks that arise from the lack of commitment to extract this statement, including the influence of the safety and health of pilgrims, the quality of the services provided to them and the plans of their movements and their presence between feelings.

The commission clarified that the pilgrimage without a permit is not limited to the harm that is being limited to the pilgrim himself, but rather exceeds its harm to other pilgrims who adhered to the system, and it is legally decided that the infringement harm is greater than the minor harm, and in the hadith agreed upon him, may God bless him and grant him peace:
